Summer Research Programs

Universities host summer research programs to support underrepresented students who are looking for research experiences at another institution. Students conduct research and attend workshops to help broaden their knowledge of graduate school and develop application materials. Most programs PAY students to conduct research over the summer. This is a list of only a few programs, I encourage you to search for more in your area of expertise.

Grad Application Spreadsheet

It can be overwhelming to apply to multiple programs. You should keep track of the application requirements, faculty at each institution, and application portal information. You can use this spreadsheet to help you organize this information.

Letters of Recommendation

Your letter writers will be thankful that you are providing them with this information after they have agreed to write you a letter of recommendation. It helps organize all of the necessary information they need in order to write you a letter (and submit it on time!).
